A one-way flight is a ticket that takes you from your starting point to your destination without including a return trip. However, keep in mind that some destinations with strict visa requirements may require proof of onward travel. While your airline may sell one-way tickets, it’s worth checking if your destination requires additional documentation, particularly for international trips.

According to Cheapflights data, some of the best deals for one-way domestic flights in the past two weeks were Marudi to Miri at RM 39; Alor Setar to Kuala Lumpur at RM 42; and Lawas to Bakalalan at RM 43.

You can score cheap one-way tickets to international destinations too. Recent Cheapflights data highlights some incredible deals, like Malacca to Singapore for RM 76; Kuala Lumpur to Singapore for RM 81; and Penang to Singapore for RM 93.
