Unlimited mileage

Was hoping for Toyota Camry as advertised in full size class. Chevy Malibu was very, very difficult to figure out controls -never did on many things. If son had not been along to help with turning things on, off, up, down and being co-pilot, I would've had a nervous breakdown! Taught me that I will never buy a Malibu, even if it was offered near free, Also location was far from home, had to keep three days longer than planned till I can get a ride home from Leetsdale Drive without paying $40 for ride

Drop off only allowed at PU location, not at airport. This was not clear when I reserved the car.

Though the establishment was understaffed, the lady at the desk was committed to ensuring we were served well. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the car. It wasn't the cleanest rental out there, but it wasn't the worst either. Car drove well. Clerk said this was due to staffing shortages and they didn't have the personnel to adequately clean the cars. All in all, despite their staffing shortages, service was good.

Kayak made the reservation at a different location than I requested - not at the airport location. Forced me to use Uber. Hertz had my reservation, but didn’t have a car ready when I arrived. Eventually came up with a car smaller than I expected. I blame Kayak for most of the problem.

Car actually rented from a location which was closed for 48 hours after my plane was scheduled to land even though they had the flight info. Hertz would not transfer the reservation to an open location

Hertz reservation was messed up, and the local staff could not update it. International help support was barely competent. “Upgrade” to the type of car I had reserved was incredibly expensive. Finally, the car had broken windshield wipers, a 60% full gas tank, a tire pressure warning and summer tires despite being rented in Denver. In all of this, their local and international staff was spectacularly unhelpful. Given the above, I expect Hertz will try to charge me an extra several hundred dollars for some imagined issue with the car - they have not yet sent a receipt.
