I received a car with squeaking brakes and i returned it because it felt unsafe to drive. They didn't have another car of the same category or anything close. They offered me a car of a higher category but the price difference was ridiculous high. I ended up leaving without a car and they still charged me. Horrible service

Terrible. I had my reserve and the counter guy just didn't find it. Besides they did not have any car available and the only alternative offered was a 8 person VAN 3 times more expensive. Worst experience ever, I need the refund because they did not respected the Reservation

The car was fine and met my needs. Sixt has an incredibly low mileage, such that it was no longer the cost efficient option I thought it would be. Drop off was also cumbersome and not clear. I had to guess what to do with the car and hope that it wouldn’t come back to bite me. Other globally recognized brands had clear signage, which Sixt could benefit from.

They canceled on us the day before. While we were in a foreign country. We had to find a new car rental in less than 24 hrs.

The option to hire meant insurance doubled the cost and even then the wheels, tyres, suspension and exhaust were not covered. This felt like theft. Driving on poor roads when there are places where even major roads have pot holes 50cm deep and reach many hundreds of metres long and all the way across the road and the insurance is rigged against you is theft. I will never use Sixt again however pleasant the staff who were charming
