Popular choices among Cheapflights users include AirAsia and Batik Air, with 44% and 13% of one-way bookings, respectively. However, keep in mind that some destinations with strict visa requirements may require proof of onward travel. While your airline may sell one-way tickets, it’s worth checking if your destination requires additional documentation, particularly for international trips.

According to Cheapflights data, some of the best deals for one-way domestic flights in the past two weeks were Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu at RM 53; Kota Bharu to Kuala Lumpur at RM 56; and Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu at RM 56.

You can score cheap one-way tickets to international destinations too. Recent Cheapflights data highlights some incredible deals, like Kuantan to Singapore for RM 91; Penang to Singapore for RM 96; and Kuala Lumpur to Singapore for RM 109.
