Cheap Car Rentals in Montreal Pierre Elliott Trudeau Intl Airport

We got our car but we had to wait 2 hr

It’s was very very exceptional. My English is limited but I want to thanks the guy who give me service. He’s name is Carrel if i remember. An excellent service !!! I received help from his boss to. Her name was Fabiola, a very good manager. She helped me when I lost the key of the car… So, for sure I’ll be back. Thank you Alamo!!!

Everything was as I booked it. No unpleasant surprises.

When we arrived, we walked up to the Budget counter, stated our name, couple of signatures and and within 5 minutes we were in our vehicle and on our way, excellent service. On return, we pulled in the service agent checked the mileage and printed our receipt and we were on the way home! Excellent service.

They told me that they would not honour my reservation. I was left stranded in Montreal. All of the airport car rental agents were out of cars to rent yet kayak continued to pretend that this was not the case and continued to allow people to make useless reservations for cars online even though there were no cars to rent. You are negligent in allowing this to happen thus stranding passengers who think that they have a rental waiting for them inky to find out that all of the rental companies are overbooked and won’t rent out prereserrved cars. There is no point using kayak ever again. I will always book directly with the rental company.as they know their actual in stock availability, not some fake list of available rentals that kayak displays.

Getting to the rental car area was cumbersome: long walk, then still had to take a shuttle. Rental agreement was in French, but one of the staff spoke good English and was able to help me understand what I was signing.

Pick up at airport was extremely slow, long line and only 1 available agent. We had reserved an economy car but were told they were out of that size and we had to take a Buick Escalade. We chose an economy car because it would mean using less gas, instead we got a car that used more gas and cost more to fill up. We were not happy about this experience.

Fantastique, especially when Maude preheated the car so warm for me on the freezing cold day in Montreal , and removed the snow covering the car to verify upon return, highly responsible and professional!

I purchased the insurance at the time of booking to arrive on site and be told it isn't valid and that I need to purchase Europcars insurance, which was 2x the price with a terrible $3500 deductible. The company I purchased insurance with when I completed my reservation warned me of this behavior. On site the salesperson disclosed they work on commission, and it is so clear this is a scammy loophole to increase their sales and make it more difficult on the customer to then cancel the other insurance. Will not book with Europcar in the future.

Scam! I rent the car based on unlimited km. I get to the location to be told it is not. I decline the insurance because i have a credit card insurance to be forced to pay 12$ a day. Ended up paying 66$ above the price and returning the car a day earlier because i ran out of kms! Plus the agent had no idea how to use to system!

Didnt give me the car i paid for. Waited a long time for the car. Extra 250$ charged to my card without explanation. Told me they dont have a car and that they couldnt help me. I had to insist to have one.

I liked nothing the owner and the young kid that worked there were ignorant, unhelpful, unfriendly, condescending and in my opinion scam artist. That your company promotes these people as a legitimate business is appalling. They don't pick you up with a shuttle you have to uber over to them.....which you pay for!!!!! Slow service took me 1 1/2 hours from the time I call them to pick me up for the car to actually get a car. It took less time to fly from Atlanta Georgia than get my car. Car selection and cleanliness was awful. You feel very uncomfortable in the area and the broken-down home that it is based out of I am a man and felt uncomfortable can't imagine being a woman and being dropped off at this location. I got the insurance online because I did not trust this fly by night car rental and when I got there, they said they don't take that insurance, and I would need to contact that company to get my money back. Then they forced me to buy their insurance because they would not accept my insurance. AWFUL!!!!!!!!! How Kayak puts their name with this company is stupid in my opinion and because of that I will never do business with either of you again.
